Sean “Diddy” Combs has left followers scratching their heads after posting a cryptic message on social media.

The 54-year-old took to Instagram on May 4, posting a video that begins with a camera panning down an empty white hallway as narration begins.

“Not hysterical. Not frantic. Not anxious. Not fretful,” said the male narrator.

The short reel cuts to a number of different scenes throughout, showing Mr. Combs embracing someone in a hug before holding hands with unknown individuals in a circle.

Further, the video shows the rapper standing on a stormy, windblown beach, with the narrator’s focal point being “remaining steady in the storm.”

“Looks bad, looks tough, but remains steady in the storm,” said the voice as the 30-second clip ends.

This is his first post since April 15, and since the rapper was slapped with numerous lawsuits amid sexual assault and sex-trafficking allegations. He has flown under the radar as a result.

Users were quick to offer their opinions on the post, with many questioning his message and others showing support as Mr. Combs has not been formally charged.

“Sometimes we create our own ‘storms’ and then get mad when it rains,” read the top comment.
The Epoch Times has reached out to legal representatives for Mr. Combs for comment.

Legal Woes

Mr. Combs, otherwise known as “P. Diddy“ or ”Puff Daddy,” is facing a number of civil lawsuits against him, stemming from an initial filing by his former partner Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

Ms. Ventura claimed over the course of 10 years, she was subjected to “physical, sexual and emotional abuse punctuated by rape, sex trafficking and being forced to engage in drug-fueled nonconsensual sexual encounters with other men.”

The suit against Mr. Combs by Ms. Ventura has since been settled, although it propelled others to come forward about alleged assaults.

Liza Gardner, a woman going by the name Jane Doe, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, and Joi Dickerson-Neal have all claimed similar misconduct.

Mr. Jones alleged he was “subjected to unwanted advances by associates of Mr. Combs at his direction” and that he was forced to engage in relations with sex workers hired by Mr. Combs.

Ms. Doe brought forth more egregious claims as she was underage at the time of her alleged assault. Her suit says she was 17 years old when she was trafficked and raped.

Ms. Dickerson-Neal dates her assault back to 1991, alleging Mr. Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her while being secretly recorded. In response, his lawyers filed a motion on April 26 to dismiss, citing the statute of limitations.

The accusations against the embattled music mogul led federal agents to raid his Miami and Los Angeles homes in part of a U.S. Homeland Security sex-trafficking probe.

Most recently, he was named in a new lawsuit after a New Orleans design firm alleged Mr. Combs failed to pay a six-figure tab on an event he was set to hold.
The fall-out was felt on many fronts, as Mr. Combs also lost over a dozen brand partnerships and had to temporarily step down as chairman of “Revolt,” a television network he co-founded.
Back in December of 2023, Mr. Combs denied all allegations made against him in a statement via social media.

He claimed the victims who came forward were looking for a “quick pay day,” as they attempted to assassinate his character, reputation, and the “legacy” he built.

“Let me be absolutely clear,” asserted Mr. Combs “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
